Ride for Dad Okanagan Chapter – they just kept coming. . . . .

The drone of the mufflers could be heard from across the lake as the procession of bikes first appeared on the William R. Bennett bridge on the second annual Okanagan chapter of Ride for Dad. With a police escort clearing the way for the 400+ riders taking part, it took approximately 5 minutes for the parade of chrome to cross the bridge.

Riders were all smiles, thumbs up and waving as they drove up the hill embarking on their journey for the day. The ride moved the earth as it went through the South Okanagan as the Oliver mud slide occurred 20 minutes after the ride went through and closed the highway.

Thank you to all the organizers, participants and volunteers who helped make this event another huge success.
