  1. That is quite an adventure my friend and well written. Glad you weren’t wearing a VIPW jacket and VERY happy you are ok, Cathy.

  2. So glad you’re ok. I went down once and the Aerostich suit’s knee padding was the difference between walking away and being carried away. And my lovely new Shoei helmet sported a huge scrape on he chin bar that was the difference between having a face or permanent scars and/or plastic surgery. The right gear makes all the difference.

  3. What a traumatic experience you went through, good to hear that you are recovering well. We are glad you were wearing a Shoei helmet and this experience didn’t turn you off to motorcycling. Enjoy the new lid and be safe!

  4. Hi Marissa.

Glad that you are on the road to recovery. It goes to show you it can happen to anyone. I crashed my bike about 3 years ago, broke 3 ribs, but I got right back on my girl and road her home. I sure was pissed off but go over and was grateful that all that happened was my ribs broke and my girl was fine.

  5. Marissa,
So glad to see your smiling face at the end of the details of your crash. I’m really glad that you were wearing the proper gear. I also wear full gear when I ride. Take care and get well soon so you can ride again.
    Bye for now,
