Race enthusiasts will be eager to take in this season’s final testing round for MotoGP this weekend prior to the season opener in Qatar.
Reigning champion of Yamaha Factory Racing, Jorge Lorenzo said that whilst there was pressure on him this year to retain his title, it was something he has gotten used to, whilst Respol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa added he was looking to have an ever better season than last year. Marc Márquez, also of Respol Honda, remained coy about his chances this season, saying that even though he is going well in the tests, a race is a completely different thing.
Moto2 favourite Pol Espargaró, who goes into this season as favourite, was in a relaxed mood, though said the pressure to perform would no doubt hit him in Qatar, whilst in Moto3, Luis Salom was quick to point out that whilst he was quickest in the test, there was incredibly strong competition in the class.
