Taiwanese Grand Riders building legacy with Starr

This is a video that has touched the hearts of everyone who has watched it, evoked tears in those who can relate to it and still inspired others to face their own realities in style.

One such individual is filmmaker, Peter Starr in California. When I met Peter a couple of years ago, he mentioned to me that he intended to go to Taiwan, track down these riders and go ride with them. Starr is by his own admission, a senior but hasn’t given up his sense of adventure, exploration or desire for life and has no intention of slowing down any time soon.

After his initial ride with the Grand Riders of Taiwan, Starr was inspired by the Taiwanese culture and in particular for their respect of their seniors. Last year, 2012, he organized a group of Americans and travelled back to Taiwan to once again ride with the Grand Riders, and further explore the Taiwanese culture while celebrating the youth that inspired motorcycle riding in the very beginning. See the video below.

Now he is doing it again but it is even bigger!

Starr is looking for three senior Canadian men to go with him in 2013, meet the Grand Riders and then take in the 2013 110th Harley-Davidson Anniversary in Taiwan where they anticipate 2,000 riders.
