DAYTONA 675, DAYTONA 675R, Trophy SE and Speed Triple models

Speed Triple SE features a blue frame, eye-catching tank stripes, color-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl, plus extensive carbon fiber to complete the unique, premium look. May 20, 2013, the Speed Triple recall was posted for 24 units for 2012 and 2013 models as:
- “On certain motorcycles, an incorrect gearbox detent spring could allow the transmission to inadvertently shift out of gear while the vehicle is underway. This would result in a loss of vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the riders reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the gearbox detent spring.“
- and as well:

- May 21, 2013, the Daytona 675 and 675R were added to the list – 61 units of the 2012 year for:
“On certain motorcycles, the throttle cable guide was omitted during vehicle assembly. As a result, the throttle cables could become trapped in the steering stop, which could prevent the throttle from opening and closing normally. This could result in a loss of vehicle propulsion, or make it difficult to slow or stop the vehicle. Either issue could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a throttle cable guide. Also, the throttle cables will be inspect and replaced if necessary.”
Then on May 28, 2013, the all new 2913 Trophy SE joined the list with 74 units affected for:
“On certain motorcycles, the fuel tank may have been manufactured incorrectly and could leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank.”
