The Annual HOG Poker Run is being held Sunday, September 23, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. at Kane’s Harley-Davidson on McCurdy.
Proceeds from the ride will go to help injured local chapter members, Joe Police (pictured with his new Road King) and Laura Egeland. A week after thsi photo was taken at Okanagan Ride Fore Dad, Laura and Joe were cut off by a truck making a u-turn and didn’t see them. The pair were severely injured and Laura has lost one leg from the knee down.
While medical expenses are climbing, the pair faces some serious challenges like having to renovate their home before being allowed to return to it and back to their independent lives.
