Back in the 90’s, Mods v Rockers was a typical Saturday night at a local club called the Luv-a-fair. In fact, the mods would arrive on their Vespa’s and the rockers in their leathers. The music was fabulous and the Stray Cats were on charts with their rockabilly tunes.
It appears from this event, not much has changed. Rockers v Mods is a vintage motorcycle and scooter rally featuring two days of activities, music and lo and behold – Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats.
If you live in the Chicago area or are looking for a place to ride to, this event is a must.
Event kicks off Friday June 15 at 6 p.m. with registration continuing until 10 p.m. at which time the ‘All-Nighter’ gets underway until 4 a.m.
Saturday, June 16 – food – riding – show – trophies – then the ‘Rockers’ Riot’.
